Was it 70* where she came from? If so, that is fine for now. Just make sure you slowly rise it up. If not, you should get a heating pad or a moonglow night bulb. Or do you already have one?

No the humidity in the tank in Petco was room humidity... But I don't think it would help if I bring the humidity down again just to raise it up again?

I just set up the moon glo light bulb right now because it looked like she was too cold- she was staying right under where the lamp was.

Wait... was 70 the humidity or the temp? Can you do the percent sign % or the degrees sign * so we do don't get confused? What does the other thing read on the thingy? What was the temp in Petco. Thanks.

The temperature in petco was normal- 75* but the humidity was room humidity. now I checked and the humidity looks like 70% in my ISO. Should I bring the humidity down again and raise it up again or just leave it as is?

I wouldn't lower it and then raise it again...the little Hermie will adjust.
I know a few people will GASP when I say this, but after all the bathing for buggies and the like, I put mine in the ISO tank with a standard 75*/75%. I've never lost anyone yet by doing that, in fact they are quite active and love the fact that there is a giant shell boutique in there to shop in.:D

Spray your substrate a bit with warm water and leave your light on so you can get your humidity up, especially if it's only 70%. It'll take a little while, but you'll get there---your a good crabby-momma.:)

I always try to call people " You" or "they" if I'm not sure but usually I know and I don't know how. I just pick up on little things involuntarily. How is your new crab?

She looks fine right now. Hasn't changed shells and hasn't molted yet. I saw her climbing the plastic screen top of the tank. She's a pretty good climber. But there's nothing really new rifht now.

Does the tank have a screen lid? You should think about getting a plexiglas one. They keep the humidity in better but if the humidity is good than that's fine. Is she in ISO?

If you look at the bottom left, you can see she knocked the hygrometer that used to be on the pot into the water bowl. -.-

Wow. He is really active! I see what you mean with the tank and all. My crabs are not such good climbers. The little ones enjoy their little coconut stuff backround but the big ones are not climbers at all. They only climb the little sturdy things like rocks. Never cholla wood.

Wow! What an amazing climber! Clinger's gonna have some fierce competition! :D
I think I have the same ISO tank as you! It has a turquoise screen lid and is plastic and is the same size! :O I got it for Christmas!
What's the orange thing with the flowers on it? It looks cool!

It's just some plastic pot thing I found in my backyard. I found like 3 of them. I cut a door in them and washed them and I use them as little huts for the hermit crabs. Storm never goes in it, though. She uses it as a step to get to the ceiling

Oh. I got some plastic ones and cut holes in them. I don't use them anymore. They were pretty temperary. Your crabs should have a rock climbing competition.:D That's a nice ISO. All the plants and stuff look great! Mine is not nearly as well decorated. Ok. I admit I'm not a great decorator at all.

SHe;s always trying to climb the walls and escape. Can I just let her out for a little and let her walk around on the ground a little so she can get some exercise?

Sure. Make sure you keep good track of her. Once I lost my tortoise under this giant pile of stuffed animals.;) I found her later.
