Many of us who may have the tools to contribute, but don't know how mechanically, or computer wise to do so (I have the camcorder and the computer, but don't know how to put them together!) might benefit greatly by placing questions in such a forum?
What do the more experienced members think?

OK, I'm about to have someone try and set up my system. Can someone please advise of settings, requirements, prgs. etc. they might need?
    Connecting camcorder, stills, audio, etc.
    Thanks.

Now that's a good question. I know little more than it's a Sony VAIO. (Still new to it).
Has port for mem. stick; Canon Stereo Camcorder/still does not. Did not rec. any software. Model #ZR80. HP scanner - not connected, then the usual equip. I need someone to come in and set the entire system up. I'm also looking for a recording device that I can just set over tank to record conversations discreetly; sound activated, with memory stick. Being able to send special pictures or videos would be fun, but I'm really excited to get audio d/l'ed.
    Does that help at all?
    Thanks for your help!:)
