I have a few shells like that(babylonia spirata) if you let me know the size of the opening he needs, I can rummage through and see if there's one his size and send it.

Yes, they look so sweet. The way you took the pics it looked as if one of your hermies is upside down.

the only thing i would suggest is you know the crabbie your holding and hes reaching out. They do that because they think they have been grabbed by a sea gull it can really stress them out!

oh really? i don't hold them alot, just to place them somewhere, sometimes i lay my head down and they climb on it but i don't hold them like that. what does it mean when they walk and stick up a leg then take a step and stick up another leg and keep going, it isn't every step, just when they are walking. and when i say stick up i mean strait up in the air!

Your pics look fine. You always want to get them doing what ever they do naturally. I took a pic of one of mine, the next day he died. I think I stressed him out, didn't have him for too long, only three weeks. He was the only one that would come out and say hi so, I thought I would just take his pic. Now, I just take pix of them in the tank or, until I have them more than a couple of months and they come out to see me. I can't even exercise them yet. Some of mine are still down under the FB.:) Set your micro on your camera, some times you need flash depending on the time of day etc...:D

i don't think i have micro, i have close up, but not micro... i stopped doing that [taking them out so much] because they kept hiding from me. i let them be more now and they are more active and not hiding except for the daytime. but do u know what it means when they walk funny? when i do take them out once and a while they waslk like that, or at least the only did th eother day. i found it to be cute.

They just do what they do, walking funny, sitting up in their shells, resting with their shells up in the air, they just do different things. Do not worry, they know what they are doing.:) I thought one of mine was stuck in between my grapevine wood, I got worried, I look like 5mins later and he was somewhere else.

My crabbie started walking funny when she was getting ready to molt i think she was loosening off her exo. She did what it sounds like your crabbie is doing, shed walk a few steps then randomly stick her leg up keep walking and do it again with a different leg. I have to admit i was worried but it was so adorable i couldnt stop laughing!
