I can no longer care for my crabs if you are in IL or know someone in IL by the WI border who is willing to adopt them I hope to give them to a good home. I will not ship them. I have 6 crabs, Bobbie is in the shell with an opening of 1-1/2", Puppy is in a shell with an opening of 1", Kermi is in a shell opening of 3/4" and the other 3 are in 1/2" shell openings.

I know hermez that that is a shocker to me, I have no house to keep them in so I can't keep them. It sucks to have to give them away but I know Cheryl will take great care of them. I know they are going to a great house.

Due to divorce between my husband and I, they had to be adopted out. I was not able to care for them as I need to worry about the kids the most now.

I am so sorry, adopting crabs out stinks! :( I got in trouble last semester for living on campus with hermit crabs... apparently they aren't allowed, although I'd been led to believe they were. I thought I was going to have to get rid of them, but my mom volunteered to take them. I was so nervous she'd take bad care of them, because she didn't know much about hermit crabs. At least my mom was more of a "foster mom," than having to full fledge adopt them... I'm so sorry and hope things work out for the best for you!!
Anybody that has hermit crabs as pets and loves them the way they deserve is obviously a very caring and loving person, because hermit crabs are often mistreated... if you take the time to learn about them then you are obviously very sweet hearted..
My heart goes out to you and I hope that things work out for the best for you and your kids! Maybe one day in the (hopefully near,) future you can get more hermit crabs!

I'm so sorry about that. Is this just for adopting for a few months or years or forever.
