Depending on the size of your crabs, I'd suggest more sand so they have enough room to bury. Also, I don't see any mention of salt water which should be provided for them!!

also that mesh top loses all the humidity- is it covered with a towel or saran wrap? otherwise sounds good including what silver said

Still looking for a store that sells sea salt and so far no results. And as for saran wrap? Tried it and it is so frusatrating to get on right I gave up on it. Thats why when I mist the crabitat and the crabs I do it very heavily to make up for the mesh lid.

I would put a towel over the top like Silver said.I do it & it helps keep my humidity up in the 70's & I mist it aswell.Other than that good job!

making it TOO humid can drown them..........keep that in mind the towel is a simple fix-or some plexiglass can be layed over it.

As far as using plastic wrap...it doesn't need to be sealed or anything...I just lay a piece over the top and adjust how much of the tank it covers depending on the temp and humidity levels; so, it's not as frustrating as trying to get it to "stick" to the edges of the tank!
