Have you ever heard that plants can grow better by putting certain kinds of music next to them while they are growing? That was just a science experiment that was done. I guess what i wanted to know was if music affects hermit crabs. If anyone is willing to find out for me that would be just great. Thanks! Bye.

Not sure but I would hate to keep a constant vibration (music) on them. I don't know how they work sensory wise, but it might make it difficult for them to "sense" stuff if things are being "drowned out". If that makes sense. Might cause a lot of unnecessary stress.

Then again it might calm them idk.

Yeah, crabs don't "hear" like we do - they feel the vibrations that sounds make in the air as opposed to having a specialized organ for hearing. I haven't noticed any bad effects from music in the room on my crabs, but I try not to overdo it.
