It's def. a D opening one. The lil' booger, he tried on every shell in the tank, and kept coming back to this one. He did stay in a green turbo for a couple of days, then the next morning he changed back to that one and has been in it every since. I don't know the name of the shell, but I'm sure someone on here does.

My crabby Flash is in the same type of shell and he does the same thing...tries on other shells and comes back to this one. I got mine in a bag of mix shells from the dollar store, so I'm not sure what kind it is either.

The camera doesn't do his color justice! At the tips of all his legs, aren't red, there more of a dark fushia color. Or a dark magenta. DareDevil is my most colorful crab. All though Topaz is giving him a good run for his money!!

I was thinking the same thing about Rhino but I believe a delphinula is even more 'craggy' if that's a good word to describe it.

I think (but am not positive) that Rhino's shell might be a delphinula.

Okay, I went on Naples Seashell Company website. The two closest shells I could find that looked like Rhino's are: Florida King Crown or a Cancellaria. So it's one or the other! :p

Sorry I was wrong. This is the shell's name for the one Rhino is using. Cuma Lacera
