Well it looks like both Limbo and Levi have dug down to molt. They have been down for 3 days now. They are right at the back of the tank and as the tank is too heavy I cant move it to see them but I can see the tops of their shells.

So we will just have to wait and see how they go.

    Hum...since I'm still a newbie.... I will pose this as a question...

If you can see the tops of their shells... might the substrate not be deep enough??

Mine dug under real good so I couldn't see them at all...

As long as the substrate you have is deep enough(2x the size of your largest hermit crab) and moist enough, I would leave the digging and how deep to dig to them.;)

My substrate is very deep is over what is recommened. I can see their shells because they havent dug all the way.

Well over night Limbo resurfaced because his not next to Levi anymore. Not sure where his gone may have dug down somewhere else.

Levi is still in the same spot and no changes with him. I hope all goes well.
