Well, It has been a little over a week now that Kirby and JaCi have been in their new tank and they are doing great. However, I am a little nervous now because sometime last night, JaCi buried herself. I am assuming she is molting but I have never had a crab molt before so I am a typical nervous first timer. I keep telling myself that she will be fine and come up looking great!

Anyway, today I am off of work so I decided to go check out the crabs at the petstore. I stared into their tank for about 5 minutes searching walls, food and water dishes and wood for any kind of bugs or anything. There were no bugs and no dead crabbies. I think asked if I could hold them and look through them and the lady said it was fine. I looked at all 6 crabs they had in the tank. Sure enough, I picked two. They were the cutest two I thought :) I believe they are E's..but what do I know? Lol. After about an hour of pics and playing, I found out that both are girls and I know have Laicee and Maicee. Laicee is the larger of the two. Maicee is smaller and is missing one whole left leg and the bottom segment of another left leg. Both pinchers are fine. She seems okay though and no problems. I took some pics for ya too! Let me know if they are definitely E's.

Also, I have them in their own little tat for now. How long would you say before I put them in with Kirby and JaCi? I haven't seen any kind of bugs on them or anything and they seem very comfortable. Maicee has already picked a new shell for herself and Laicee was climbing all over!

Maicee, you can tell how small she is by me holding her here..

These are all the new shells I got for them. Laicee is in the pic next to the white shell which actually has orangish and purpleish stripes around them..I am hoping she switches into it! The top yellowish shell is the shell that Maicee picked and is now checking out the tat in :)
