has anyone been to this site? my mom just told me to go there. they have a lot of crabs, but i think most of them are salt water tanks, not land crabs. but they also sell them. strawberries are $4.99. someone let me know if this is a good site, or if i should stay away

Are the strawberrys marine or land? If they are land that is a super price.

    Thanks for sharing..

There are two types of strawberry crabs, coenobita perlatus, the strawberry land hermit, and Calcinus sp. from Hawaii, marine hermits.

Calcinus are very tiny, so they would be very much cheaper, so I think the ones you're seeing are probably marine strawberries and not perlatus at all.

I just now looked at the site, and the ones you're seeing are marine. You can tell the difference by the Latin names in future; coenobita are land crabs, calcinus are marine.

    Hope this helped you!

ty, but both of those names where completely foreign to me, so that won't really help. did that site have any land crabs, or all marine?

I checked and didn't see any land hermits. It appears that they are all marine crabs.
