    Hi All, Question??

I have a maple tree and poplar tree...
    1. Can my little guys eat the leaves?
    2. How do I prepare them so they do not get hurt?

    :thanks:

I don't know what a poplar tree is but the maple leaves mine love those. I just spray them with salt water and add them to the tank. I don't break them up and I put one on the 2nd level and one on the first level. I take it right off the tree too. I also remove the stem. I do check to make sure it doesn't have any bugs on it or signs of bug chewing then add it. I don't use pesticides in my yard either so make sure you know no pesticides are used before you put it in the tank.

Poplar is fine for them, too. You can offer fresh and dry leaves, they also eat the bark and the wood if you put in some twigs.
