Jumbo&Smalls???

    Has any1 had problems between their Jumbo and small/large crabs??
    im asking because i just pick up a Adoptee from petco for $2 and all my crabs are small or larges. is there any reason to keep them apart?
    is it safe to put them together?:confused:

    the adoptee is a jumbo

    It's safe, unless the jumbo's personality is aggressive. They're very social animals and can live in peace with various species/sizes. The only problem you might run into is tank space or hiding places. But if you feel that you have enough room for the two to co-exist, then you'll be fine.

    just be careful about water dishes since crabs can drown. you need big enough dishes for the jumbo to soak in but you may want to put in a sponge so that if one of the little ones falls into the water they can pull themselves back out.I have had teenies and larges together for 3 years with no problems, if anything its the little ones starting with the bigger ones!
