is trixie molting?

    the sunny state of Cali (: (in the USA)
    i haven't seen Trixie for about 10 days now. i am assuming he is molting, but i am not sure. i know he isn't dead becasue there is no smell:p how long do they usually molt for???:confused:

    It could be anywhere from two or three weeks to two or three (sometimes more!) months. It's hard (trust me, I have crabs so small that they molt every other month, I understand completely!), but you just have to leave him be to do what he needs to. He's done it maybe even hundreds of times in his life so far, so he does know what he's doing!
