I want to take a round tupperware container, cut a wide arch in the side of it, and place it upside down in my crabitat. That way they can climb on top of it and also go inside of it. My only concern is that the edges where I cut it could be jagged or sharp. Do you think this is a bad idea?

maybe you can take a fine sand paper and rub it over the cut area to get rid of any jagged or sharp spots.

You can always use aquarium sealant to put around the edges and then it won't be sharp if you are worried about it. Otherwise the sand paper idea may work.

When I cut it it didn't seem dangerous so I just put it in. Thanks for responding though. So far they seem to like it...except they've fallen off a few times. Haha.

You can use plastic pots and ceramic pots as well. Just lay them on their sides in the tank.
