Yes they are, make sure there's nothing added to them when/if they are cooked.

Jelly bean and Mckenny are the same people. I'm so use to Mckenny so Jellybean sounds like some new person to me.

Yup, Shrimp are okay for them. They give the crabbies meat protein, too, so there is less need for cannibalism amongst crabs.

Jellybean is Mckenny!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?? OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek:mg: Mckenny, I missed you, but you're really Jellybean!!!! :hahahaha:

My hermies love prawn/shrimp! :D I can never find it in the freezer, though.... Shrimp is great for protein and calcium. The protein comes from the meat, and the calcium comes from the exoskeleton. Just don't feed it to your hermies frozen. It could carry some kind of disease if you don't cook/microwave it, but I forgot what it's called. Ask emmac350 for details.

    HI JELLYBEAN!!!!!!! :D

From what I understand, crabs and shrimp carry a lot of the same diseases. As in, shrimp can transmit shellfish diseases (like shell rot and other related gunk) to your crabs. Microwaving/steaming/sauteing the shrimp before you serve it to the crabs reduces the risk of disease transmission to next to nothing (microwaves are really good at killing stuff).

Yea but, then the government would be killing them.. That movie kinda speaks to me, like it scares me that if i was bitten or pinched my a mutant hermit crab they would treat me like that guy.. and that would make me want to die...for real.. i dispise the government.. i hate it, and fear it, but dont respect it..
