I have fed my crabs salty food before, but recently was told that added salt is bad for them. :(
Does this mean that salty crackers are bad for them?

Yes Sodium / table salt are very bad for your crabs. They DO need Salt water everyday though but that is MARINE salt like what they use in salt water tanks

    Thanks Cloie,
I guess I should find a better treat to give them, perhaps fresh fruits?
I think those make good treats.

They should be having fresh fruits and veggies every day... but, Peanut butter and honey make good snacks.

You can buy organic, sodium free Peanut butter, they will love that for a treat, ir crushed unsalted peanuts do the trick too.

Yes, you are right. Added salt is very bad for your hermies' health.
