    It is only one of them (The pics are all the same hermie) The second one was dead long before I brought him home, when I went to clean, I found him very very very past expiration :-(

    I felt terrible for him, I buried him in the yard. I knew they would be in kinda poor shape because the people didn't care for them, but the one I have changed right out of his bad shell into a new one and is thriving in ISO

    Cute crab nice job on the rescue!
    The stick from your tree is fine as long as it was soaked and heated to kill stuff. but that half hidey log is NOT safe.

    They are made of low scented cedar wood which are poisonous to your crabs.
    I actually had to Email the company that made them to find that out.

    I have taken it out since. I didn't add it, it was there when I got him. I loaned him one of him the other crabs, and I am hollowing out a coconut tonight when my husband brings a couple home from work. But thanks for the heads up :)
