    Hi. :)
    I'm new here.
And my name is Amberrr. (=
And I just got my hermies 2 months ago.
And I was wondering how many shells should I have for them?
    What sizes?

And btw, both my hermies are purple pinchers.
(I said Ecuadorian before but I was searched it and I was wrong)
Well the pet store told me orange was a girl, and jake was a boy.
But how can I make sure that its true?

So how many shells and what sizes should I have for my hermies?

    (Orange is bigger than jake!)

And how do I make sure that they are the right sex?
(People tell me that sometimes the pet store is wrong)

    ~Thanks in advance. :)

I'm a new crab owner myself so i'm not sure about sizes of shells but the pet shop said a bit bigger than what they already have and then some big ones.

When it comes to sexing your crabs, the girls have "gonopores" on their back legs, little black things but the crabs have to come pretty far out of their shell so don't force them, wait till they trust you, or u might pull their legs off by accident!

I have two crabs! Timone and Thowra but poor little Pumbaa died!
    Waaah!

    Bye!

You should have three or four shells for each crab, some the same size as your hermit crab's current shells and some a little larger. You should check the sticky cococrisp said, too! :)
