Nita. That amazing that you haven't got pinch yet. The reason I got pinch is that I was being stupid. You see I let Dr. Love pincher on my hand while he was inside so he pinch me so hard, I started crying cause I got scared. my mom rushed to me and wanted to burn the hermit crab with a lighter since she thought it was pinching me so hard blood would have came out of my hand but that never happen. Luckily my mom but some t-shirts in the sink with water so I didn't have to wait a while for mom to put water in the sink. My mom just wanted to drown the hermit crab and but him in the water so his eyes would be and inch away from the tip of the water. So for I think 5 min, He let go and walked through the water. We returned Dr. Love and got Clowny(RIP).
Well I only been crabbing since Jan. and you benn doing great Nita.

You shouldn't use sink water if a hermit crab is pinching you. you should use dechlor water. I always have that around in a bottle so if I get pinched or if I need to spray the tank.

Aww, poor you, CoolDoggy, but OneOnion is right. You shouldn't use sink water to get a hermie to stop pinching you. I keep a jar that my hand can fit in if Gucci or someone pinches me.

:confused:Then why don't you return all of your other hermit crabs? All hermit crabs have the ability to pinch.

I agree. can't you just tell them NOT to hold him? He thinks you're some big bad monster; it's not his problem.

How true cococrisp. I mean, seriously, take a bigger picture. As OneOnion said, all crabbies can pinch. She must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed that day.
