    Hi everyone,

I haven't been around for a while, but I'm still crabbing.

My most active crab, Rowdy, has molted several times in the past year--I think. Is this possible? I know the little ones molt often, but Rowdy is a large medium and has doubled in size since I got him. I think he's molted at least 4 or 5 times.

Any thoughts on what is going on down there?

When ya gotta molt---ya gotta molt:D They know what's best for them, and if he's growing by leaps and bounds, he listens to the call of nature and goes down for a molt to grow some more. :)

each crab is unique- I have a large straw that molts constantly and it drives me mad- she should be at every 4-6 months and she doesn it more often
