Hermit Crabs First Shell Changing!

    I put some natural shells in the tank and in a half hour all three had changed shells, I think they were a little excited haha. No more painted shells finally. Heres some pics :hermzpoo:


    This is Red Sea in his new shell and next to his old painted one

    first time I saw a crab change I about lost it! My guts turned! It took to getting used to, I don't know why

    Haha when I was watching I looked at my boy friend and said, "That is the most discusting, gross, alien, but fascinating thing Iv ever seen." I know how you feel.

    LOL, yeah it is a weird experience when you first witness a shell change. Glad you saw it and cute pics! On a side note, from what it looks like in the last pic, you could use more sand in your tank. It needs to be good and deep for these guys.
