Hermit crab in need of home quick!

    That's really close to my parents' house...but I don't live there anymore, and they don't want any more pets. Alabama is a little too far away from Ohio to get the poor guy...and that awful shell too...

    I live 6 hours away but emailed this person anyway to see if they'd be willing to meet halfway. if soo I wouldn't mind the drive to get that crab away from those horrible conditions and into a loving hermie home!!

    I live in TX...but I hope Jessafall is able to save him. Why people do things like that I have no idea...and upon reading her ad, what does her care sheet say and where did she get it? Paper towels, painted shells? *warning the care sheet may have come from a crackerjack box...*

    Most people have no idea how to take care of them unless they do research before or after acquiring hermit crabs. Unfortunately they are mostly an impulse buy. I commend this person though for trying to find a good home for her crab instead of letting it die a slow, painful death, or just tossing it in the garbage.

    It's wonderful that we are caring and passionate for our crabbies, but don't forget patience and understanding toward most of those who haven't a clue and chose to put them up for adoption. :)
