I'm not feeding the crabs the skin, just the solid stuff on the inside.
It's still safe, right? (The goo has already been thrown away!)

The crabs do tend to go for food that's been left out awhile.

    Well,
I waited to long to feed the pumpkin to Shelle, and got moldy, so I threw it away. Luckily, there's a left over pumpkin that's never been carved! :D

Yeah, its got one of those names that signify that you're supposed to LOOK at it, not eat it. They are pretty hilarious looking. :p
They remind me of a GINORMOUS squash.

Eggplant can be really good if prepared properly. I use it in a casserole fairly often, and I slice it up into small pieces (1/2 inch cubes about), and cook it in a pan with a little olive oil and water (to steam and flavor; the pan at that point has also cooked onions, garlic, sometimes some ground beef, and zucchini and/or yellow squash) and then mix it in with a red tomato sauce and noodles and cheese...bake in the oven and it tastes phenomenal.
