Heheheh...I can hear the crabs talking to each other now:
Yo---yuz lookin' at me??
No offense, McKenny, but I can't say I'm much a fan of NJ. I went to school in NY, and I would get so confused driving in NJ - between the no left turns weirdness and the you can't pump your own gas weirdness...yeah.
Then again, having had to drive diagonally across PA every time I wanted to visit the parents, can't say I like that state either.
Back onto the contest topic:
So, if you guys are going all out like this, maybe my crabs' fashion photo shoot of them in their new fall colored shells (non-painted, don't worry!) won't help me win. Drat.
No offence...in fact, I have never been to NJ.
Ok, back to Plymouth Rock. Hmmm...bows and arrows....did the Mayflower by any chance have cannons on it??
Bows and arrows, cannons...yeah, I'm going down. Too bad. Just don't shoot me, either of you! I'll let you two duke this one out on your own.
A 10 dollar gift card to HCA Store and it comes with a net for free with no extra charge.
Huh? Did I dose off...explain Cooldoggy10, and pictures would be nice too.
I think my new site is only able for other people to reach when i am logged in so keep trying!
I don't think the Mayflower had cannons because it was a oil ship.
The Mayflower an oil ship? Not at all! Heck, back then, we didn't use the kind of oil we use now - we used whale oil. But the Mayflower wasn't a whaler - it was a cargo and personnel transport ship to bring people from England to the United States.
Actually the Mayflower was called a "sweet" ship -- as she was a former wine ship and had the aroma of spilled wine.
But even so, I seriously doubt she had cannons on her.
We're all just having a little silly fun...
oops...sorry Emmac350, you beat me to the punch. ( I need to learn to type with more than just two fingers)
I was playing around. I was being those ppl with ads on tv
Do contests always come right after each other?
This is real crazy! I know that we're not having a contest YET,
but still, we're on a roll here!
Haha, yeah, you do need to learn to use your whole hand to type (actually, you should learn to type with two hands...we ARE in the 21st century now). You're WAY behind the times, McKenny.
Oh, and I think the contests are every month, Donny.
Did i just Channel my computer in the history Channel????
I feel so lost!!!
I can't wait for the contest tomarrow I think it's So fun and I can't wait to see everyone else's pictures. I have a small idea that I still have to work ok. OH and I have a question, you all know that november 1st is day of the dead for children, and november 2nd is day of the dead for the adult, so I was thinking of like making a little hermie parade? I don' know I dreamt about it last night and I think it would be cool.
I guess no one saw my response in the winner thread- I donated my prize to this months.
Im not going to be around much anymore- will pop on when I can......just wanted to give THANKS @ Thanksgiving and donate my prize
Do the contests usually happen at the beggining or end of the month?
It came pretty late in the month this time.
Is it just when you want to?
Chuckle chuckle...poor Donny...let me help you out.
The contests begin at the Beginning of each month-----
by the 19th or 20th the photo entry is closed for submission----
a poll is set up and the Voting begins----
by the End of the month the votes are counted and a winner announced.
THEN, with a one or two day hiatus, we start a new one all over again for the next month.
Hey, I have a left-over carved out pumpkin from halloween,
and was wondering if my crabs could eat it as a treat.
Its not the goo, I mean the SIDES of the pumpkin.
I asked this question on THIS thread because many pay attention to it.
They're supposed to really like the goo. It's probably safer too, because pumpkins are usually sprayed on the outside with pesticides to keep bugs from eating them before they can be used for Halloween.
