There are about 3 bugs in my hermies tank and they look black, have wings, and are about 1/2 centimeter long. Mom told me they might be fungus gnats, but I don't know.... Can you answer 2 questions for me?

1- What bug species are they?
2- How do I get rid of them?

    Please answer quick!

Could they be fruit flies? If you leave your food in longer than overnight they often come. I tried a Venus fly trap but that did not help me so I started doing more thoruogh checks of the tank for loose food etc.
