Fresh Berries

    Do any of you guys feed your hermies fresh berries??? Are they safe for hermie-health??? I mean, can they break out with a disease all of a sudden if they eat them???:confused::confused::confused:

    I give them raspberries from my back yard along with the leaves and they love them

    Cool!!! I have raspberries, too!!! Now I know they're safe to feed to my hermies (along with the leaves). . .

    Make sure you rinse them REALLY well with Dechlor water in case there are any pesticides or anything on them! We dont use any chemicals at all in our yard and neither does our neighbor and we are the only ones around for a hal mile so I am prety sure my stuff is safe but I am not sure about wht your family or neighbors use, even from the market unless from an organic store you should rinse REALLY well.

    I feed my crabs rasberries from the store, but didn't know you had to rinse them with declore! :confused::(:confused:
    Do you have to rinse everything with it?!? :eek:

    Yes, of course!!! I don't use any chemicals or pesticides on my berries at home, though. . .:D:D:D

    Rasberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberrys. I feed them all to the crabs.
