Yeah. It sort of annoys me when everyone is buried for photo contests but now I usually have a couple up because I have 13.

Right now Sherbert is the only one up, but I only have three so I guess that's a good percentage.

My crabs don't even dig so I think I would be more happy if they did dig and were buried all the time.

It's weird that they don't dig. Crusty and Lou-Lou are totally addicted and so was Sherb when she was preparing for her molt! Are you sure you have the right substrate?

My crabs dig when they want to molt. Usually, the majority of my crabs are molting.

Yeah I have the play sand everyone suggested and its too sandle castle type consistancy. The one guy digs when hes in the coco hut when he's sleeping (or what I think is sleeping) But I never really see any others digging. They are usually sleeping under the log or coco hut or climbing my net and cholla wood.

Edit: Although I am looking for a 20 or 30 gallon tank and will be using EE in that tank. I want to see if thats easier or better then the sand.

I sort of decided I had to use sand for my 120 gallon tank because buying that much EE would leave me broke so I bought sand that's just a few dollars a bag but I've decide I like EE much better.

Yeah Im sure for that size tank it does take a few of those bricks to fill it up. It just seems like it may be better. I guess Ill find out after I try it.
