Hi! well, my friend gave me a small aquarium because all their fish had died. They gave me everything, including the little plastic aquarium plant that they had used. Is it safe to put it in with my hermies? Do i need to clean it with something special or whatnot because it was used?

the plastic plants are great for the hermies, most of them are rigid enough for the crabs to climb on. if u can buy kali powder in the pharmacy (i dont know how u call it in the states...) and use it to sterilize the plant. u can also use 1 bleach to 19 water, soak the plant for 5 mins and wash really good.
