My 10gallon tank went through a lot of changes.

My tank when I first got it:
    ^Calci-sand and shallow water bowls.

    And then...
^I added better sand and one deeper water bowl for fresh water.

This is the one I entered in the photo contest:
^Two deep salt and fresh water bowls with a moss pit and cholla wood, still sand substrate, fish net to climb on

And finally, what it looks like now.
^Part Bed-a-beast and part gravel, moss pit, cholla wood, 2 deep water bowls, river rocks, fish net. Lol I just noticed you can see Storm in her yellow painted shell sleeping on the top right corner of the fish net. xD

It looks really good, for a 10g!

Yeah I looked at other tanks and learned that to make a 10g look bigger you could add 2 different substrates and I also noticed I was using too many hiding places in the past.

It looks amazing! :D I LOVE it! Better than my tank.
I think Bed-a-Beast is unsafe. The sticky I just bought new crabs what do I do now says:
--sand or compressed coconut bedding (do NOT use Bed-a-Beast)
That stink, because it looks really good.

Actually, I heard that a few years ago bed-a-beast was not good, but people started calling the guys who created it and then they changed it and now it's safe to use.

You'd have to look at the ingredients. I don't know what it's made of. Can you poke your finger in and make a whole?: What type of tree or something is it made of?

Yeah, you can make a hole in it with a finger. Storm is buried down in it right now. It's made up of 100% cocohusk.

Yup. Exactly like EE and stuff like that. But if Storm comes up with like some deformities and stuff and the Bed-A-Beast isn't really that good, I'll let you know.:D

Oh nevermind then. If it's made from 100% coconut husk I guess it's good. They must have changed it after HERMEZ made that thread.
