I got them at a craft store called pac catans they were on sale, and a total steal! Their plastic, and my hermies love to climb on them! My smallest is sleeping in one of the plants right now! Oh by the way, that is just a 35 gallon tank. :)

I like you tank. Even though EE keeps humidity better I like the look of sand so much more. Maybe I'll make a little sand pit or something in my next tank =D

    Looks awesome! 8)
Good luck with the sand, by the way. I used sand in my 30 gal and it was terrible, I lost my two precious Perlatus because of that(Collapsed tunnels). I use EE now, retains the humidity better. :)

I had some EE in my tank, and my hermies didnt like digging in it, so i switched to sand, and they love digging in it, i dont know, its just thier personal opionions i guess lol.
I dont really like the way EE looks either, I dont know, it just looks weird to me :) lol

ya my first and only loss was due to a collapsed tunnel then me then knowing about it cause the little pp was destressing so I dug her up she dug back down and I think died in a molt from stress, so I now like EE more P.S. sorry for typos + stuff it's 2 in the morning so I'll make some typos lol

Oooo...nice tank! I think the substrate is a matter of choice, both yours and the crabs. I started off with EE, so I just stayed with it. Every time I do a deep clean though, I think about trying the sand. Hmmm, maybe one of these days...

I had both EE and sand (sand was the main substrate) and my crabs spent ALL their time in the upper levels with the EE, even molting up there, so I went to just EE and they love it. Funny, huh?
