Diffrent color post molt

    my little guy dale jr. molted topside ate almost all his exo and now is on the move but today was bath day and he is BLUE I am not talking blueish brown but BLUE. Before he molted he was a brownish/green color. Is there something wrong with him?

    Both of my crabs were blue after molting too! And they had kinda a "dusy" look to them. But after a few weeks, they started turning a beautiful purple-red color!! That is the only two molts I've ever been through, so not sure if this is normal, but since my two and you one looked like that, I'd say it probably is!!

    what species are we talking about? Crabs will be brighter right after a molt- and tend to get darker and or ashy before a molt

    Mine is a PP! After he hardened back, he was a bright reddish-purple.

    mine is an E I think...pretty sure of it....so yes he is an E.
