  1. I don't know about you, but several of my crabs have some really fun personalities (or NOT so fun personalities) so I thought I would share some with you and maybe you all could share some too!

First, there's my first and most famous crab, Bob.
Started out as SpongeBob but renamed BOB THE GREAT after his 10 day out of tank experience. He is the tank welcome wagon. He also has had two successful molts with me. By far, my most favorite crab he has loads of personality and sits on his log surveying the tank as the KING that he is.

    Then there's Freckles.
The only surviving straw of my three original, she molted well for me! She's a climber and a clown and is usually the first one to the dish whenever I put in fresh shrimp tails. She is very sweet and gentle and she and Bob are quite good friends.

    Next are Bonnie & Clyde
These two were the rescued CRAB IN A CUP from WalMart and I really didn't expect them to live. However, they were DYING to get out of those cups, so I took them home. They immediately dug down and a few weeks later popped up molted. These two are appropriately named as they are the two tank trashers! They love to climb and when they hear me take the lid off the tank, they timidly come, knowing I'm going to put some treat into the dish!

    Then there's Gary:
My sweet little lovestruck and food dish hog ruggie. If you notice, most of the pictures I get of Gary are in the food dish...because that's where he always is! If he's not there, he's following my newest rug, Sandy around with little hearts in his eyes. He's also very interested in meeting new tank mates and will run from one side of the tank to the other to investigate them.

    Lastly, there is Sierra.
My stubborn little E who REFUSES to change shells. She won't even try any on! She's the most timid of my crabs at first, but once she warms up to you, will brush you with her antenna while putting in fresh water or food.

I can't wait to hear about your crabs!
