I'm going to set up my brand new 40 for my hermies, and was wondering if I should clean it out or anything before I start setting it up. And if so, what should I use to clean it since its new?

clean it out with diluted vinegar, rinse with declorinated water untill odor of the vinegar is gone and wipe dry with paper towels.
