Are Frozen Berries safe? I know most berries in these mixes are safe but are they ok for me to add to my list of Fresh Day feeds?

I have a blend of blue berries, black beries, and strawberries, and there's a bag of frozen strawberries...

I've been giving them to my crabs for a while now, with no negative side effects.

I use them too! :) Just make sure there aren't any other ingredients besides berries and water.

As long as it's only berries and water. You could also freeze fresh
    berries yourself:)

    Hi RoxyLupin,

You could make berry ice cubes by beforehand placing a berry into each holder. It would make for a good water source and they could eat the berry, too.

Alex, you shouldn't have to use food as a water source - crabs need water bowls and don't go to food to find water - they look for water sources. I've noticed that when I put in a food that's frozen and ends up putting water in the shell with it as it melts, the crabs rarely touch it. They seem to prefer their food and water to be separate.
