    Here is a list of 5 sutable live plants you can have in your tank:

    Butterfly plam
    Parlor plam
    Bamboo ( NOT LUCKY Bamboo)
    Lucky bamboo is Very toxic and is not even a real bamboo!
    Spider Plant
    Ponytail palm

    Just thought id post this for all the new members

    how do you know if bamboo is lucky or not? i have bamboo my friend gave me and have been debating whether to place it in or not....

    LUcky bamdoo is the cheap kind you get for $6 at any floral place
    you know the stems growing in the Water
    hang on ill see if i can find a pic.

    Bamboo is a tree and Lucky bamboo its a medium size plant and its toxic
    And it not hallow

    oh yeah... i was wondering why it wasn't hollow...
    I was also wondering if bamboo is supposed to grow 4ft in a day, why mine never grow at all....

    I'm pretty sure the bamboo I kept in my bedroom was unlucky, lol. It died really fast.

    How do u get a palm tree in the crabitat? :)

    u can add mangroves to your list btw
