You asked for them, so back by popular demand, here are pictures taken today of the "ants"!

Left to Right:  Spark, Bug, & that is Elmo running down the side in search of escaping the camera!  (Someone is hiding in the hut...I think that is Kirby.)

Sprinkle is climbing on their new sea fan:

Spark is "King of the Hill" & Kirby is in the hut saying, "Yeah, right!"

When she got them, they were about the size of ants.  It looks like they're starting to get bigger!  Good job Kathy and thanks for the pics!

They still are wee, and still really cute. I like them most when they're little, that way you can get them used to you earlier. It's like trying to teach a dog a new trick, you can do it, but it is really difficult!

well, I was not around when you got them Kathy, but I have been following how they are doing! They are still really very sweet, and they look very happy where they are! Congrats...PS, if you still have pics of when they were ants, I would love to see them!

Well, three of them are still really about ant size.  Sparks is larger & fast aproching micro status.  Please realize that these pictures quite magnified.  If you look at one of your own dimes, you might be able to gage exactly how small they really were.

Here ya go!  This is a quick look at their progess:

The day they arrived, August 18, 2005  (Sprinkle is on the right, Sparks on the left ~ notice how "bug-eyed" he is!):

About a month later, Sprinkle is up on the finger sponges, Dottie is in the moss:

Wow, those really are itty bitty.  Is there much of a difference from taking care of larger sized hermit crabs?  Or is it about the same?

About the same.  I don't bath these guys, but I do a monthly bath for all my other hermits.  I don't handled them too much, either.  Mainly because they are so tiny & FAST that I am afraid to drop them.  The smallest three are very social, but Sparks, the largest of the four will not come out of his shell for me.

I feed them basically the same diet, but they do get organic babyfood more often than the adult hermies.  By the way, their favorite food is shrimptails, which they have no problem dragging around the tank.....even though the shrimptails are enormous compared to the ants! :angel10:

Awwwwww!  I was patiently waiting for these new pics on that other site!  They are soooooooooo cute!  I want some!  I want some!!!!  I just LOVE the little guys!  They are so lucky to have you as their mom.  I remember when everyone was scattering around trying to find you some shells that were small enough for them.  They made that dime look huge.  Way to go!
