    3.05 Gallons

Multiply the three measurements, length, width and height in inches to get cubic inches. E.G.18 x 12 x 12 = 2592 cubic inches. Then multiply that number by 0.00433 to convert from cubic inches to gallons (11.22 gallons). You will be off a little bit, as most people use the outside tank measurements and not the inside.

You're welcome. A quick google search sometimes goes a long way. I used to love math :)

Is that what your crabs are in? it is way to small for even one crab.
You need to have at least a 10 gallon tank for 3-4 crabs. (depending on size)
Also glass is better because it is easier to heat and hold humidity.
Good luck on getting the new tank, your crabs will thank you for it ;)

You (or your parents) should sign up on the website freecycle.org and see if anyone in your area has a 10g aquarium that they're willing to give you for free. That's how my friend who's new to crabbing got her tank - got it for free, and she could have gotten 3 other ones too!
