The New Pools! Course, like a ding-bat, I realized I didn't put the salt pool in until after I was done!  It'll have to wait till next clean.  The salt pool is currently waiting for a air tube & bubble stone.

Crabbies in their fav. spot!  I didn't dare move this moss caddy!  They liked it just where it was!

Great tank! I love looking at other people's set ups. I love the last two pics, the light shining in makes it look like a real jungle! I love your plants, makes me want to add more to my tank.

It does look good!!  :straw: I dont ever understand how people who do pools like you do can change the water? I never bubbler a salt pool that film that gets on the tank windows is a pain- re-think that unless you dont care- you may have done yourself a favor  :chuckle:

But back to the pools and the rocks can get slimy- isnt that a ton of work? Im serious when I am asking this- I know some people have a filter system even that makes me shudder. I see way too much poop in the water not to want to change it all the time. (that is the problem with being a poopologist)  :yes2: so that just looks like oodlesof work- I must confess as I have said before that is the least favorite thing to do is change the water------I woudl much rather dig for poop anyday!! LOL

Looks really great- I bet they will love the whole back of the tank now covered in that net-- :sunny:

thanks everyone!  I've really enjoyed watching them last night.  They were having a blast in there!

Hermez~ You might be right about the pools.   Maybe I will leave the salt alone.  As for the bubble pool, we'll see how it goes.  The crabs were all in it last night.  The most I've seen yet.  One time, there were as many as 5 in it.  All that work putting it in, for now it's staying..... :chuckle:

Hmm, that is interesting about the bubble pools. I have never had a problem with them yet. Mine are just set into the sand and I pull them out every few days and go give the rocks a good scrub under water and change the water. It really isn't that big a deal to me. I also have not had any issues with film from salt water. I do use a pretty small air stone so wonder if that makes a difference. My biggest issue is all the sand they drag into the pools with them. I just got a waterfall last week and they love it and so far it is super easy to keep clean. Makes you think though!
