I have two hermit crabs that are purple pincher (coenobita clypeatus) crabs that I need to put up for adoption. I need to do this as soon as possible. I live in upstate South Carolina. I don't really know how to ship a hermit crab, but if someone is willing to explain, I will keep that option open. I really hope they find a home. I have had them now for two months. Also, I would like any advice on other options to give away the two crabs if nobody here is willing.
Thank you very much for the intrest/help!

    Post in the following places:
    Hermit crab association
    craigslist
    fjijijij er whatever it is
and see if a local animal shelter can help you out. SOmetimes they have people that take care of animals for a short amount of time until they can find permanet homes.
    Good Luck.
Oh also try crab street journal;)

make sure they go to a good home. You should also try hermit crab association. Sometimes people on craigslist are not totally knowledgeable about crabs and are often people with carry cases etc. I've found several people who are great thought so give it a try;). Hermit crab association has tons of members.
    Good Luck
I'll go look for someone on Hermit crab association and if you don't mind sending a link to the craigslist post that would be great.
    Thanks.
